Neil Shearsmith

Neil's early days in the window film environment starting with tinting vehicles in Hull which give him the skill set to move into the architectural side of the industry early in his career, before becoming co-founder of Solarfrost Window Films® in 2022.

As well as being an experienced installations manager, one of Neil's biggest strengths is his onsite contract management. From initial survey through to completion of the job, Neils attention to detail is second to none and he won't leave any stone unturned to ensure our clients expectations have been met. Neil also has expereince within the construction & signage sector and has a keen eye for onsite health & safety and quality control.

In his personal life Neil is married to Corrie a local nurse and they have two children in their twenties Luke & Jack and two young granddaughters Isla & Blair. Not ones for the quiet life they also have two border collies Olive & Stan.

Away from the business Neil is a keen Hull City supporter and season ticket holder. If it is not Hull City then you will often find Neil with a camera or paintbrush in his hand. When he has spare time he is a very keen photographer and is also a dab hand at oil painting which probably explains his attention to detail!

All the skills that Neil has picked up over the years compliment those of Steve's and given their great work comradery, setting up Solarfrost together was perfect progression for them.
