Case Study: Enhancing Classroom Comfort with Natural Sputtered Light Window Film Installation in Bradford


During the recent half-term break, our specialist installation team completed an extensive window film retrofit at a primary school in Bradford, transforming the learning environment while pupils and staff enjoyed their well-deserved time off.


The project involved the application of our Natural Sputtered Light Window Film to all south-facing windows across the ground and first floors of the main teaching block. Project Objectives

The school faced ongoing challenges related to solar heat gain, particularly in classrooms that receive direct sunlight for much of the day. High internal temperatures were causing discomfort, distractions, and increased reliance on blinds and electric cooling systems.

The school’s facilities team required a cost-effective retrofit solution that could deliver immediate results without major disruption or window replacement. The key objectives were:

  2. Maintain high visibility to preserve natural daylight and external views without darkening classrooms.

The Technical Solution: Natural Sputtered Light Window Film

To meet these objectives, we specified and installed our Natural Sputtered Light Window Film, a technologically advanced glazing solution designed for environments where light transmission and visual clarity are essential.

This film is manufactured using a sputtered metal deposition process, which creates a multi-layered coating that selectively filters solar energy while allowing natural daylight to pass through.
